MEET BILL BEAM
Bill always exceeds expectations while working on large or small projects, which is why he has been named June’s Employee of the Month. Bill is a proud tradesman that has spent years mastering his craft. You only need to watch him for a moment to recognize that he is very comfortable with a trowel in his hand. His positive attitude makes him easy to work with and his understanding of the industry makes him a key employee. He is always willing to go above and beyond to help meet the needs of Schad and its customers.
1. How long have you worked with Schad?
I have work for Schad for 7 years.
2. What do you like most about working at Schad?
I like the camaraderie between all the employees at Schad.
3. What is your favorite part of your job?
My favorite part is learning and handling new technological equipment, which helps me to then accomplish the task at hand.
4. How has Schad helped your career development, and what are your future career goals?
Schad has given me the opportunity to learn new skills which can also further me in my career.
5. How would you describe the Schad culture?
It is like working with family.
6. What is your fondest memory of working at Schad?
Going to the large particle board facility project in Northern Michigan and making new friends.
7. What advice do you have for future Schad candidates?
Do your job to the best of your ability and the rest will take care of itself.
8. What do you like to do outside of work?
I love to go out and fish.
9. What is something unique about you?
I own five dogs.
10. If you could go to one concert, past or present, which would it be?
World Series of Rock which is held in Cleveland.
11. If given the chance, who would you like to be for a day?
A pilot.
