In the almost year and a half that Ann Varbanov has been with Schad she has shown great commitment to her job and the entire Schad team. She tackles everything that comes her way with a positive attitude and takes great care to make sure things are done the right way.
No matter the project, Ann is always willing to put in additional hours when resources are stretched, or tasks require immediate attention. She is dependable, positive, and is eager to accommodate Schad’s employees, customers, and partners alike. Due to her dedication, positivity, and work performance, we are honoring Ann as Schad’s October Employee of the Month.
MEET ANN VARBANOV
1. How long have you worked with Schad?
I started working for Schad in August 2016.
2. What do you like most about working at Schad?
I get to work somewhere that has been a part of my family for 75 years. It is great to be a part of carrying it forward.
3. What is your favorite part about your job?
The diversity of work. My days are rarely predictable!
4. How has Schad helped your career development, and what are your future career goals?
Schad has helped me improve my administrative skills. My goal is to become a “Jack of all trades” around the office.
5. How would you describe the Schad culture?
Schad has a culture that is really dedicated to safety and quality. Everyone at Schad puts a lot of time and effort into ensuring that everyone is safe and that the customers are happy.
6. What advice do you have for future Schad candidates?
My advice is to be dependable and always proactively look for ways to improve your work flow.
7. What do you like to do outside of work?
Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my family and traveling.
8. What is something unique about you?
I’ve taken archery lessons and I am not a bad shot!
