Charles Janow is December’s employee of the month because he a good teacher, problem solver and co-worker. Charles always takes pride in his work and is a valuable asset to the fabrication shop. His experience and knowledge as it applies to reading drawings and blueprints along with fabrication and welding really shows in his work. He’s a hardworking father who puts his family first.
1. How long have you worked with Schad?
I have been with Schad for just over 8 years.
2. What is your favorite part about your job?
My favorite part is being able to be creative while fabricating forms and other things.
3. Who at Schad has taught you the most?
More than one person! I have learned a little bit from everyone.
4. What do you think contributes most to a safe work environment?
Being alert and paying attention.
5. What lessons have you learned while working at Schad?
Work smarter, not harder.
6. What advice do you have for future Schad candidates?
Work safe, be observant, pay attention and you might just learn a thing or two.
7. What do you like to do outside of work?
Go fishing and spending time with my kids.
8. If you could learn anything, what would it be?
I think it would be cool to learn how to airbrush.
9. If you could go to one concert, past or present, which would it be?

10. If you won the lottery, what is the first thing you would do?
Buy property and live in the wilderness.
