Brad Roberts has been a key member of Schad’s team for the last 27 years. Brad is a leader who is committed to doing whatever it takes to come through for Schad and its customers. He builds great relationships wherever he goes and he is fully committed to the safety of himself and others around him. For these reasons, he is Schad’s December Employee of the Month.
1. How long have you worked with Schad?
I have been with Schad for 27 years!
2. What is your favorite part about your job?
The variety of the tasks that are asked of me, which creates a challenging environment.
3. Who at Schad has taught you the most?
Some of the Schad “old timers”…Paul Ramen, Frank Stanislowski, and John Fairbanks. Those guys taught me a lot and helped paved the way.
4. What do you think contributes most to a safe work environment?
Always try to think of a safer way to do your job and watch out for the guys around you.
5. What advice do you have for future Schad candidates?
Always be on time to work, do your job and don’t worry about what the other guys are doing.
6. What do you like to do outside of work?
Spending time with my family and watching/going to sporting events.
7. If you could learn anything, what would it be?
How to play the guitar.
8. If you could go to one concert, past or present, which would it be?
Van Halen 1984.
9. If you won the lottery, what is the first thing you would do?
Take my family on vacation.
