David Bildstein has been with the Schad Refractory team since 2001. Since then, he has become an instrumental part in developing strong partnerships with clients like Ohio Steel Mills. He also has gained a reputation for being able to work with other tradesmen to complete projects in extremely short periods of time. This month we honor him as our Employee of the Month not only because of his hard work and dedication but also because of what our customers are saying – that he is dependable, detail oriented, consistent a self-starter and team player.
Dave is always looking for new and better ways to complete projects. He continuously looks for better installation procedures which can be done safely and also improve the quality of a project. He is known for his ingenuity as well as for coming up with new shapes and designs to help improve the longevity of a project.
Dave’s dedication to the craft and the safety of his co-workers on the jobsite is rooted in his family’s history. The Bildstein Family has had an extremely long relationship with the Cleveland Bricklayers. His great-great grandfather was one of the charter members of the Cleveland Local 1863. Dave’s positive, “can-do” attitude and craftsmanship makes him an exceptional employee for Schad.
