1. How long have you worked with Schad?
I have worked with Schad for 18 years.

2. What is your favorite part about your job?
I like that every job offers new challenges and being able to problem solve and overcome those challenges to complete the job. Also, the people we get to work with and the friendships that are formed.

3. Who at Schad has taught you the most?
I can’t just say one person has because I have learned different things from so many people throughout the years, whether they are an “old timer” or someone who just started. However, guys like Jimmy Lezotte, Greg Saucier, Jimmy Saucier and many others have taught me the most throughout the years. They are willing to take the time to show you easier ways to do things, while still allowing you to try things on your own, make mistakes, and learn how to fix those mistakes.

4. What do you think contributes most to a safe work environment?
Having people that care about the job and one another. Nobody wants to get hurt or see someone else get hurt, we all want to go home to our families the same way we went to work. We all pay attention and look out for one another.

5. What lessons have you learned while working at Schad?
You get way more accomplished and things go way smoother when we all work together. Leave the drama at home!

6. What advice do you have for future Schad candidates?
Show up and do your job! Show up on time and be ready to work. Pay attention to what is going on around you and be willing to learn. Ask questions if you don’t know what is going on and be willing to jump in and help. Don’t always wait to be told what to do, there is always something that can be done! Be open minded and be willing to take advice, don’t assume you already know everything.

7. What do you like to do outside of work?
Spending time with my family, hunting, fishing, woodworking, working around the house/home improvements and helping others.

8. If you could learn anything, what would it be?
I wouldn’t mind learning how to rebuild engines.

9. If you could go to one concert, past or present, which would it be?
I’m not really into going to concerts but if I can do something related to one of my hobbies, I would like to go to New Zealand to hunt giant red stags and do some fishing.

10. If you won the lottery, what is the first thing you would do?
I would put some into investments for my kids so they would be taken care of when they get older. I would also help out family and friends, pay off my house and go on some hunting and fishing excurions.
