February Employee Of The Month: Joe Glass

March 4, 2026

Rain, sleet, or snow—midday or midnight—Joe will show. With his main role as the shop mechanic, he often changes gears into other critical roles. When it matters most, Joe steps up without hesitation, whether that means jumping in to run a short notice emergency job or coming in on the weekend to drive the semi, he always answers the call.

His loyalty is unmatched, and his craftsmanship and knowledge has been forged through years of hands-on experience. Holding a PhD in GSD (gettin’ stuff done), Joe always finds a way to get it done.

The diversity in everyday tasks.

3. Who at Schad has taught you the most?
That is hard to narrow down to one person. I have honestly learned a lot from many different people with Schad over the years, and am very thankful for each opportunity I have had to work with so many of our great crew. Tyler Vanwinkle, Stuart McManus, and Paul Boniakowski though, have been the most influential on me and my career. I’m very thankful to get to work and learn from each one of them everyday.

George Strait.
