Mark Myers Schad’s July Employee of the MonthThis month, Schad would like to honor Mark Myers as its July employee of the month. Since joining Schad 16 years ago, Mark has been willing to travel, work hard and generally do whatever it takes to help Schad complete projects and maintain its stellar reputation. Incredibly dependable, he takes great pride in helping the company perform to the best of its abilities.

While Refractory work is not easy, Mark is consistently taking on the toughest jobs and being multitalented, he thrives in this environment. He says one of his favorite things about working at Schad is that “it always keeps you on your toes.”

Mark takes advantage of his many skills each day on the job site, always making safety and quality a top priority — the Schad way.

MEET MARK MYERS:

1. What do you like most about working at Schad?

Working for Schad always keeps you on your toes. We work with different people, different places, and on different jobs.

2. How has Schad helped your career development, and what are your future career goals?

You get the opportunity to work with talented tradesmen. My goals are to continue to learn from them.

3. How would you describe the Schad culture?

Family orientated.  We have been working with the same crew for a while and I feel safe and trusted.

4. What do you like to do outside of work?

Spending time with my family. 

5. What is something unique about you?

I am currently building a front porch on my house.

6. If you could go to one concert, past or present, which would it be?

Eminem, anytime…

7. If given the chance, who would you like to be for a day?

Mark Zuckerberg, he started a prank and ended up a millionaire.

8. What advice do you have for future Schad candidates?

Get ready to WORK! Safety is number one, always be aware of your surroundings.
