Pre-Inspection of Equipment

You have planned, you have performed, you have completed every step of a project along the way, and now it is time for the critical portion of the project required for a successful finish, and the piece of equipment you need won’t work.  Nothing is worse than this nightmare scenario, whether it is a mixer, a pump, a compressor, or a brick saw, contractors and maintenance workers rely on equipment everyday to get their tasks done safely and on-time.

To minimize the likelihood of this occurrence be sure to perform pre-inspections of equipment and tools prior to using them.  Not only is this beneficial to the project and its schedule, but it can also be critical to workplace safety.

At Schad, we inspect our equipment before it leaves for your worksite to minimize the likelihood of problems in the field.  Another good practice is to identify defective equipment or parts once they are identified on a jobsite or a project so that the problem can be corrected prior to returning for its next use.

Inspecting equipment prior to use can save time, money, and improve safety on the worksite.  To learn more about troublesome pieces of equipment used in refractory installations, and how Schad performs inspections and maintenance to ensure that we work safe and fulfill our promises to customers, reach out to us today.
