EMR: Experience Modification Rating

The Experience Modification Rating is an industry standard used to determine the level of risk associated with a particular contractor. Experience Modification Rating is measured using 1.0 as a baseline measure. Typically, an EMR of 1.0 or greater is considered poor, 0.80 is good and anything lower than that is exceptional.

As of March 1, 2015, Schad’s E.M. Rating has been reduced to 0.66, which is incredibly low when compared to industry standards. The Schad team has worked hard to continuously decrease our EMR and has done so successfully for five consecutive years!

An increased level of safety creates trust from insurance companies. This allows us to provide our services at competitive rates. Safety is always our top priority, and we operate each and every day with the idea that one incident is one too many.

We’re off to a safe and productive start in 2015. With the skillfulness, precision and determination to always improve, we’re working together to continue this success and reduce our EMR for the sixth consecutive year.

Get your project done safely—work with the Schad professionals.
